Zehnder ComfoAir 160 filters (237×150×24) – original set G4 + F7
Description
Zehnder ComfoAir 160 filters are original, high-quality recuperator filters designed for efficient filtration of supply and exhaust air. These filters help ensure clean indoor air and protect the ventilation unit from contamination.
These original Zehnder filters are designed and manufactured specifically for the Zehnder ComfoAir 160 ventilation unit.
Set contents – G4 + F7
The set includes two filters of different classes to protect both the device and the indoor air.
- 1 × F7 (ePM1 50%) filter for supply air
- 1 × G4 (Coarse 60%) filter for exhaust air
Differences between G4 and F7 filters
G4 filter (exhaust air)
The G4 filter retains at least 60% of large particles larger than 10 microns - soil particles, large pollen, plant debris, insect wings, sawdust, sand and textile fibers. It protects the recuperator from dust accumulation, thus maintaining quiet operation, lower energy consumption and a longer system life.
F7 filter (supply air)
The F7 filter captures at least 50% of fine particles, 0.3-1.0 microns in size – bacteria, smog, tobacco smoke, combustion dust, spores and pollen. It purifies the outdoor air entering the premises, making it especially useful for allergy sufferers or those living in areas with heavy traffic or urban pollution.

When to change filters?
Zehnder recommends changing the heat exchanger filters every 3-6 months. The frequency of replacement depends on the level of air pollution, allergies, pets or smoking in the room, and dust from nearby construction sites. If the unit has a filter replacement indicator, follow its warnings - otherwise, visually inspect the filters.
