Which class should you choose: M5 or F7?

• M5 – reliable everyday filtration and longer service life in cleaner areas.
• F7 – better protection against fine particles and pollen (recommended for cities and allergy-sensitive homes).

Most Verso systems use a higher-efficiency filter on the supply air side and a protective filter on the extract air side. Choosing the correct class helps reduce fan load, noise and unnecessary energy waste.

Exact fit matters (how to avoid ordering the wrong filters)

The main reason HRV filters underperform is incorrect sizing. Always confirm the exact Verso model and version on the unit plate, then match filter dimensions in millimetres using your old filters or documentation. A filter that’s too small can allow bypass air; a filter that’s too large may not fit or may not seal correctly.

Replacement schedule

For stable performance, replace filters every 3–6 months. In dusty environments or near heavy traffic, replacing every 2–3 months is often the better choice.
